India, May 19 -- Silver futures traded lower on Tuesday as traders reduced their positions in the commodity market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery fell by Rs 2,411, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 2,74,240 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 2,268 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in silver prices to profit booking and selling pressure from market participants.
