India, July 29 -- Silver futures rose on Wednesday, with the September contract gaining Rs 1,484, or 0.69%, to Rs 2,17,324 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
The contract recorded a business turnover of 874 lots.
According to market analysts, fresh buying by market participants, supported by a firm global trend, drove the rise in silver futures prices.
