India, Aug. 17 -- Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd has commenced operations of a 10 MW DC solar power facility at Shirur, Umri Solar Park in Nanded, Maharashtra, as part of its strategy to support sustainable and profitable growth through strategic investments.
The company has also received Open Access approval from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) under the government's Open Access Working scheme. The approval will enable self-captive consumption of the solar power at the company's Units 1, 2, 3 and 5.
Following the addition, Shree Pushkar Chemicals' total solar capacity on a consolidated basis has increased to 20.6 MW DC.
