India, May 12 -- Sanstar has announced the commissioning of its expanded native starch manufacturing capacity at its Dhule facility in Maharashtra, marking a major milestone in the company's expansion plans.
With this development, Sanstar is moving towards increasing its total installed capacity from 1,100 tonnes per day (TPD) to 2,350 TPD, strengthening its position in India's maize-based specialty products and ingredient solutions industry.
The expansion forms part of the company's broader growth strategy funded through IPO proceeds, with the entire allocated amount of Rs 1,816 million for the Dhule expansion now fully utilised.
