India, July 23 -- Sanathan Textiles is on track to double its technical textiles yarn manufacturing capacity at its Silvassa facility from 9,000 MTPA to 18,000 MTPA, with commercial production expected to begin in August 2026.
The company said civil works have been completed and the required plant and machinery has been installed, with the project now in its final phase of execution.
The expanded capacity is expected to strengthen Sanathan Textiles' integrated manufacturing platform and enhance its ability to cater to rising demand across high-growth technical textile applications, including automotive, agriculture, defence, infrastructure, roads and railways, healthcare, sportswear, industrial safety, and fire-retardant protective wear. ...
