India, May 14 -- Sergei Lavrov called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and discussed progress in bilateral cooperation between India and Russia.
During the meeting, Lavrov briefed the Prime Minister on developments in bilateral ties since the two leaders met during the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit held in December 2025.
The two leaders also exchanged views on key regional and global issues, including the situations in Ukraine and West Asia. Prime Minister Modi reiterated India's consistent position that dialogue and diplomacy remain the best path forward.
The Prime Minister also asked the Russian Foreign Minister to convey his warm greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
