India, Sept. 9 -- The rupee declined 34 paise to 95.08 against the US dollar on Wednesday, pressured by a sharp rise in crude oil prices above the $100-per-barrel mark.
Weak domestic equities and continued FII outflows further weighed on the currency. Brent crude rose 2.94% to $100.73 per barrel, crossing the $100 level for the first time in nearly six weeks amid heightened US-Iran tensions and concerns over global oil supplies.
