India, Oct. 21 -- The Indian rupee appreciated 29 paise to Rs 94.62 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday, supported by positive domestic market sentiment and reported RBI intervention to curb dollar demand.
Analysts said foreign currency inflows linked to the Jio IPO, which opened for public subscription on Wednesday, also supported the rupee.
However, elevated crude oil prices and a firm US dollar limited the currency's gains.
