India, Sept. 28 -- The Indian rupee depreciated 20 paise to Rs 95.95 against the US dollar in early trade on Monday, pressured by a stronger greenback, continued foreign fund outflows and elevated crude oil prices.

At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at Rs 95.89 per dollar before weakening further to Rs 95.95, compared with its previous close. Forex traders said the ongoing West Asia conflict and higher global crude prices were adding pressure on the domestic currency.
