India, Sept. 9 -- The Reserve Bank of India has launched the September 2026 round of its Rural Consumer Confidence Survey (RCCS) to gauge household views on the economy and their expectations for the year ahead.

The survey covers households across 31 states and Union Territories, seeking feedback on the economic outlook, employment, inflation, household income and spending patterns in rural and semi-urban areas.

The survey is being conducted by Ipsos Research Private Ltd, Gurugram, on behalf of the RBI. Its findings will provide inputs for the central bank's monetary policy assessment.
