India, July 31 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued the final Basel Pillar 3 disclosure amendment directions for commercial banks, small finance banks, and payments banks after incorporating stakeholder feedback received on the draft proposals released in May 2026.
The revised framework includes amendments covering capital adequacy, asset-liability management (ALM), governance, and financial statement presentation and disclosures across different categories of banks.
RBI also stated that the Basel Pillar 3 disclosure templates related to market risk, operational risk, counterparty credit risk, credit valuation adjustment (CVA), and leverage ratio for commercial banks will be released separately after considering feedback on the d...
