India, Nov. 5 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the period of directions imposed on Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, Dehradun, by another three months till February 10, 2027, subject to review.

The extension will take effect from the close of business on November 10, 2026. The RBI had initially imposed the directions on February 9, 2026, under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

The central bank clarified that the extension should not be construed as an indication of satisfaction with the bank's financial position. All other terms and conditions of the existing directions will remain unchanged.
