India, Sept. 11 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced open market operation (OMO) sale auctions of Government of India securities worth an aggregate Rs 1 lakh crore in three tranches, amid a review of prevailing and evolving liquidity conditions.

The auctions will be conducted through the multiple-price method, with Rs 50,000 crore scheduled for September 17, Rs 25,000 crore on September 21 and another Rs 25,000 crore on September 28, 2026.

For the first auction on September 17, the RBI will offer six government securities with maturities ranging from 2029 to 2032. These include 7.59% GS 2029, 6.79% GS 2029, 7.61% GS 2030, 5.77% GS 2030, 6.68% GS 2031 and 8.28% GS 2032. The aggregate notified amount for the auction is Rs 50,000...
