India, March 6 -- Rajesh Power Projects Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rajesh Power Services Limited (RPSL), has signed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with state-run Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to develop a 65 MW / 130 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Virpore, Gujarat. The agreement establishes a long-term framework for developing and operating the battery storage facility and marks the company's formal entry into the utility-scale energy storage segment.
