India, July 9 -- Premier Energies Ltd. has inaugurated its 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur in Telangana, taking the company's total solar module manufacturing capacity to 11.1 GW.

The new 75-acre facility was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the presence of senior state government officials. The company also performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a 6 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility and an 18,000 metric tonnes per annum aluminium frames plant at the same campus.
