India, June 8 -- Panacea Biotec Limited's dengue vaccine candidate, DengiAll, has been selected as a key component of the newly launched DENSTAR project, a four-year international initiative aimed at advancing the vaccine's regulatory approval in sub-Saharan Africa and expanding global access to dengue prevention.

The project, which commenced on June 1, 2026, is funded by the Global Health European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership 3 Joint Undertaking (GH EDCTP3 JU), supported by the European Union. The initiative seeks to address the growing burden of dengue fever, a mosquito-borne disease that is increasingly affecting populations across Africa.
