India, June 9 -- The National Highways Authority of India has launched a series of technology-driven initiatives aimed at modernizing maintenance practices across National Highways and Expressways through the adoption of mechanized and automated systems.
As part of the initiative, NHAI has issued guidelines for mechanized cleaning of drainage systems in urban and built-up areas, along with the deployment of advanced maintenance equipment such as Automatic Pothole Filling, Compacting & Patching Machines and Mechanized Road Sweeping Machines.
