India, July 21 -- Maruti Suzuki India has announced a price hike of up to Rs 30,000 across its model portfolio, effective August 2026, citing sustained increases in input costs.
The automaker said it has been taking various cost-reduction measures over the past few months to absorb rising expenses. However, with inflationary pressures and an adverse cost environment persisting, the company has decided to pass on a part of the increased costs to customers.
The extent of the price increase will vary across different models.
