India, May 18 -- Maruti Suzuki India on Monday said it has commenced commercial production at the second manufacturing unit at its Kharkhoda facility in Haryana.
The newly operational plant has an annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles, increasing the total capacity of the Kharkhoda facility to 5 lakh units per year.
Following this expansion, the company's combined annual manufacturing capacity across its plants in Gurugram, Manesar, Kharkhoda, and Hansalpur has risen to 26.5 lakh units.
