India, Sept. 1 -- Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) reported a 42 per cent year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales to 1,07,648 units in August 2026, including exports, driven by strong demand for its utility vehicles.

The automaker recorded domestic sales of 59,257 utility vehicles, marking a 50 per cent rise from the year-ago period. Including exports, total utility vehicle sales stood at 61,167 units during the month.

The strong performance in the SUV and utility vehicle segment was the key driver behind M&M's overall sales growth in August.
