India, July 21 -- Lupin Limited has announced the strategic spin-off of its two oncology drug candidates—LNP7457 (PRMT5) and LNP8701 (SOS1)—into Kaveri Therapeutics Inc., a US-based clinical-stage oncology company, to accelerate their global development.
Under the agreement, Lupin's wholly owned subsidiary Lupin Inc. will retain a significant equity stake in Kaveri, provide seed funding, and grant the company exclusive rights to develop the two programs. Kaveri will independently advance the candidates through global clinical trials.
