India, July 17 -- Laser Power & Infra Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth approximately Rs 4.15 crore from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) for the supply and installation of High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductors under a turnkey reconductoring project in the Nalagarh Electrical Division.

The project involves replacing conventional transmission conductors with advanced Aluminium Encapsulated Carbon Core Conductors (AECC), which offer significantly higher power-carrying capacity while utilizing the existing transmission tower infrastructure. The conductors will be manufactured in India by Laser under its technology partnership with TS Conductor Corp., USA.
