India, Aug. 17 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured an ultra-mega order in the Middle East for the development of multiple offshore facilities, strengthening its presence in the region's energy infrastructure sector.
The company categorises orders valued at more than Rs 15,000 crore as 'ultra-mega'. The latest contract has been awarded to L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore).
Under the order, LTEH Offshore will be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of the offshore facilities, L&T said in a regulatory filing.
