India, July 30 -- L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions has received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from NTPC Ltd for the main plant package of the 2x800 MW Lara Stage-III thermal power project in Chhattisgarh. The formal Notice to Proceed will be issued after the project obtains environmental clearance and the LNTP period concludes.
The project involves the construction of two ultra-supercritical 800 MW generating units. L&T's scope includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of key equipment such as boilers, steam turbines, generators, electrostatic precipitators, air-cooled condensers, along with associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil works on an EPC basis.
