India, July 28 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in consortium with Hitachi Energy, has signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement (FCA) with TenneT for its 2 GW offshore wind programme, covering six projects and future opportunities under TenneT's high-voltage direct current (HVDC) initiative.
As part of the agreement, the consortium will continue executing the IJmuiden Ver Alpha and Nederwiek 1 projects in the Netherlands, while commencing work on Nederwiek 3 in the Netherlands and LanWin 5 in Germany. Together, these projects will provide a cumulative transmission capacity of 8 GW at 525 kV, enabling the transfer of renewable energy generated in the North Sea to onshore power grids.
