India, July 20 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won multiple mega orders for its Metals & Minerals business from leading public and private sector companies, further strengthening its position in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) space.
Among the key wins, L&T secured a contract from India's largest iron ore producer to develop an 18 MTPA Iron Ore Handling Plant in Chhattisgarh as part of its expansion plan to achieve 100 MTPA production capacity by 2030. The company will also execute several design, build and balance-of-plant packages for the expansion of a public sector steel plant in West Bengal, increasing its capacity from 2.5 MTPA to 7.1 MTPA.
