India, Oct. 28 -- Kalyani Steels Limited, a Kalyani Group company, has appointed Amit Kalyani as Chairman of its Board as part of a planned leadership transition from Babasaheb Kalyani, who has held the position since the company's incorporation in 1973.
The appointment will take effect at the close of business hours on October 28, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Babasaheb Kalyani will continue to provide guidance and counsel to the Board, supporting the Group's vision of nation-building through manufacturing excellence.
