India, June 25 -- Kalpataru Projects International Ltd has completed the sale of its remaining ~26% equity stake in Kohima-Mariani Transmission Limited (KMTL) to Apraava Energy Private Limited, marking the completion of its planned divestment.
With this transaction, completed on June 24, 2026, the company has transferred its entire shareholding in KMTL to Apraava. Kalpataru had earlier sold around 48% of its stake in the transmission asset in line with the definitive agreements signed in 2019, while the balance stake was transferred after obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
