India, July 30 -- Jindal Drilling & Industries Ltd. has secured a three-year contract from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the deployment of its drilling rig Jindal Pioneer.
Under the contract, the company will receive an Effective Day Rate (EDR) of Rs. 45.83 lakh per day (approximately USD 47,894) for the rig's services over the contract period.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, with execution scheduled over the next three years. The company also confirmed that the contract is not a related-party transaction and that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity.
