India, Oct. 7 -- izmo Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., the semiconductor subsidiary of izmo Ltd, has entered into an MoU with IIT Madras for Phase II of the Centre for Programmable Photonic Integrated Circuits and Systems (CPPICS).
Named Silicon Photonics Enabled Cutting-edge Technology Research and Applications (SPECTRA), the five-year programme has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) with a total outlay of ?99.94 crore. MeitY will contribute ?97.54 crore, while izmo Microsystems will provide ?2.40 crore through cash and in-kind contributions.
