India, June 11 -- Indian Railways has announced a nationwide fire safety audit of railway stations to strengthen passenger safety and improve emergency preparedness across its network.
The comprehensive exercise will evaluate existing fire prevention and response systems at stations and identify areas requiring upgrades or corrective action. The initiative is aimed at enhancing the protection of passengers, railway personnel, and critical infrastructure against fire-related risks.
