India, June 17 -- Indian Railways has approved the rebuilding of Road Over Bridge (ROB) No. 103-C, popularly known as Shastriya Bridge, in Indore Yard at an estimated cost of Rs 139 crore to improve urban mobility and strengthen rail-road connectivity in Madhya Pradesh.

The project involves the construction of a modern four-lane bridge featuring a 72-metre camel-back superstructure with PSC girders and a full viaduct arrangement. To facilitate local traffic movement and maintenance access, 6-metre-wide service roads will also be developed on both sides beneath the bridge.
