India, Sept. 21 -- Indian Oil Corporation Limited has approved an investment of Rs 2,448.70 crore for laying, building and operating the Kochi-Kanyakumari-Thoothukudi Natural Gas Pipeline (KTPL).
The pipeline will span 424.65 km, connecting Kochi to Thoothukudi, with a total system capacity of 6.84 MMSCMD.
The project will include a common carrier capacity of at least 1.71 MMSCMD, allowing capacity to be made available for common carriage.
