India, May 27 -- The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched a new online platform, 'Investors Support', aimed at strengthening investor confidence and supporting the growth of India's semiconductor ecosystem.
The portal, launched on May 26, 2026, has been introduced as part of the government's broader efforts to build a resilient, trusted and sustainable semiconductor manufacturing and design ecosystem in the country. Under the Semicon India Programme, the government has already approved 12 fabrication and packaging projects along with 24 semiconductor design projects.
