India, Oct. 30 -- India's foreign exchange reserves declined by USD 1.269 billion to USD 719.748 billion during the week ended October 30, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday.

The country's forex reserves had fallen by USD 5.011 billion to USD 721.016 billion in the previous reporting week ended October 16.

Forex reserves had touched an all-time high of USD 785.706 billion during the week ended September 4, supported by substantial foreign currency inflows through a special concessional swap facility for diaspora deposits, under which banks raised a record amount of nearly USD 133 billion. However, reserves have remained on a declining trend since then.
