India, Oct. 30 -- India Post and UTI Mutual Fund have extended their longstanding partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance investor outreach and improve access to mutual fund services across India. The agreement was signed by Adnan Ahmed, Chief General Manager, Parcel & CCS Directorate, Department of Posts, and Vetri Subramaniam, Managing Director and CEO of UTI AMC, in Mumbai.
Under the expanded Pan-India KYC Verification Project, India Post will utilise its extensive postal network and last-mile connectivity to provide doorstep Know Your Customer (KYC) verification services, particularly in remote and underserved regions.
