India, July 21 -- The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has transferred three indigenous biomedical technologies to leading Indian pharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturers under its Medical Innovations Patent Mitra initiative, aiming to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable healthcare solutions.
As part of the technology transfer, Emcure Pharmaceuticals has received the licence for SHetA2, a novel anti-HPV therapeutic candidate for the treatment of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN). The therapy has the potential to offer a safe, affordable, and minimally invasive treatment for cervical cancer.
