India, June 1 -- Hyundai Motor India posted a healthy performance in May 2026, with domestic sales increasing 9.1 per cent year-on-year to 47,837 units, reflecting sustained demand across its product portfolio.
The automaker also recorded exports of 13,300 units during the month, taking its total sales volume to 61,137 units. This translated into an overall year-on-year growth of 4.1 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year.
Commenting on the performance, Hyundai Motor India Managing Director and CEO Tarun Garg said the company maintained its positive sales momentum in May, driven by strong domestic demand and steady overall volumes, resulting in robust growth across both domestic and total sales.
