India, Oct. 9 -- Highway Infrastructure Limited (HIL) has received a work order and signed a contract agreement worth Rs. 24.46 crore with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for toll operations at the Velanchettiyur Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu.
Signed on October 8, 2026, the contract covers toll fee collection and the upkeep and maintenance of nearby toilet facilities along the four-lane Karur–Dindigul section of NH-7. The project is scheduled to be executed over a period of 90 days.
