India, May 8 -- The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has launched JANANI during the National Summit on Innovation and Inclusivity – Best Practices Shaping India's Health Future, marking a major step towards strengthening maternal and child healthcare services across the country.
JANANI, which stands for Journey of Antenatal, Natal and Neonatal Integrated Care, is a service-focused digital platform developed as an upgraded version of the existing RCH portal. The platform is designed to create and maintain comprehensive digital health records for women during their reproductive years, ensuring continuous monitoring throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal care, newborn care, immunisation, and family planning services.
