India, May 4 -- Guar seed prices declined on Monday, with futures falling by Rs 24 to Rs 5,816 per quintal amid ample market supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery dropped Rs 24, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 5,816 per quintal, with an open interest of 37,995 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to increased arrivals from key producing regions, which weighed on prices.
