India, May 21 -- Guar seed prices edged lower on Thursday, with futures declining by Rs 15 to Rs 5,989 per quintal amid ample supply in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for June delivery fell 0.25 percent to Rs 5,989 per quintal, with an open interest of 59,870 lots.
Traders said rising arrivals from producing regions and comfortable supply levels weighed on guar seed prices.
