India, Sept. 3 -- Guar seed futures declined on Thursday, pressured by increased arrivals from key growing regions and ample market supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for October delivery fell Rs 18, or 0.26%, to Rs 6,898 per quintal. The contract had an open interest of 54,675 lots.

Market participants attributed the weakness to rising supplies from guar-producing areas, which weighed on prices.
