India, Sept. 18 -- Guar seed prices rose Rs 110, or 1.61%, to Rs 6,956 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, supported by increased buying interest from investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery traded higher at Rs 6,956 per quintal, with an open interest of 67,260 lots.
Market participants said higher bets by investors supported the rise in guar seed futures.
