India, Aug. 12 -- Guar seed futures prices rose Rs 41, or 0.66%, to Rs 6,251 per quintal on Wednesday, supported by increased investor bets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for September delivery traded at Rs 6,251 per quintal, with an open interest of 49,875 lots.
Market participants said stronger investor participation supported futures prices despite a decline in spot market prices.
