India, Aug. 21 -- Guar seed futures prices rose by Rs 22 to Rs 6,280 per quintal on Friday, supported by increased positions taken by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery advanced Rs 22, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 6,280 per quintal, with open interest at 45,010 lots.
Market participants said stronger investor interest supported futures prices despite a decline in spot market rates.
