India, May 19 -- Guar seed futures moved higher on Tuesday as investors increased their positions in the commodity market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery advanced by Rs 57, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 5,796 per quintal, with open interest standing at 59,200 lots.
Market analysts said fresh buying activity and higher investor participation supported guar seed futures despite weakness in spot market prices.
