India, July 14 -- Guar seed futures rose 1.76% on Tuesday as investors increased their positions in the commodity.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the August contract gained Rs 110 to Rs 6,376 per quintal, with an open interest of 54,910 lots.

According to market participants, increased investor buying supported guar seed futures despite a decline in spot market prices.
