India, Sept. 7 -- Guar seed futures declined Rs 60, or 0.86%, to Rs 6,881 per quintal on Monday, weighed down by ample supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for October delivery fell Rs 60 to Rs 6,881 per quintal, with an open interest of 58,780 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to rising supplies from growing regions, which exerted pressure on guar seed prices.
