India, July 23 -- Guar seed futures edged lower by Rs. 6 to Rs. 6,064 per quintal in Thursday's trade on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), weighed down by ample market supplies.

The August delivery contract slipped 0.10%, with an open interest of 50,690 lots, after settling at Rs. 6,070 per quintal in the previous session.

The decline was primarily attributed to adequate supply in the market, which kept prices under pressure.
